Sun Group – Marriott International enter strategic partnership, elevating Vietnam into a global tourism destination
On March 23 in Phu Quoc, Sun Group and Marriott International officially signed an agreement to elevate their strategic partnership, announcing the development of 10 new hotels and resorts in Phu Quoc and Vung Tau with a scale of nearly 4,500 rooms, expected to open between 2026–2030. The agreement was signed with the attendance of Mr. Anthony Capuano – Global President and CEO of Marriott International – demonstrating the strong commitment of the world's leading hospitality group in accompanying Sun Group to develop world-class tourism ecosystems, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position on the international tourism map.

In less than 10 months of construction since June 2025, the APEC Phu Quoc Convention and Exhibition Center, invested by Sun Group, has nearly completed its rough structure, installing 12 out of 13 roof spans. Concurrently, the expansion project of Phu Quoc International Airport is also accelerating on many key items, demonstrating Sun Group's synchronized and decisive implementation capability in creating large-scale infrastructure, ready for APEC 2027.
