At the APEC Multifunctional Complex project cluster, the main items have entered the structural completion phase and are transitioning to technical construction.
The convention and exhibition center has achieved over 90% of its rough structure. Notably, the large-scale steel roof structure has erected 12 out of 13 U-axis spans, indicating that the construction progress is closely following the set plan, despite the complex technical requirements of this international-level project.

More than 2,500 workers work day and night in 3 shifts at the APEC Convention Center construction site.
The multi-purpose theater area has now completed about 80% of the reinforced concrete structure, and has begun deploying the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) system, a crucial step to bring the project closer to the finishing stage.
According to the plan, the entire exterior of the project will be completed in October 2026, before entering the interior finishing stage, aiming for an overall completion by early 2027, ready for APEC.

In parallel, in just over 9 months of construction, the expansion investment project for Phu Quoc International Airport is also being accelerated in construction on many key components.
Runway No. 2 records cement concrete progress at 58% for the M150/25 layer, while the high-quality M350/45 layer has begun implementation. At passenger terminal T2, the structural framework has reached 85% and officially entered the roof steel structure erection phase from early March 2026.
Particularly, the VIP terminal, an iconic structure for welcoming heads of state and high-ranking leaders, has completed 100% of its structural framework, with the roof structure reaching 60%, showing an implementation speed exceeding expectations. Sun Group Corporation has also partnered with Aedas Interiors (Singapore), part of Aedas group and HOK, major architectural and planning units in the world, to design the interior of terminal T2 and the VIP terminal according to the most modern and high-class standards.

Amidst the accelerating construction of projects for APEC in Phu Quoc , Sun Group Corporation officially partners with Changi Airports International to manage and operate Phu Quoc Airport. According to the signed agreement, Changi Airports International will directly participate in the management and operation of Phu Quoc Airport. This means the airport of the 'Pearl Island' will be operated according to the standard system that has made Changi Airport in Singapore famous, an airport consistently ranked among the world's best for passenger experience.
The simultaneous implementation of a series of large-scale projects, requiring high technical skills and tight deadlines, not only demonstrates Sun Group's construction and organizational capabilities but also reflects the determination to make Phu Quoc a destination capable of hosting top international events.
