“Green Island Symphony” is a show combining Jet Skis, Flyboards, laser lights, and the world’s most spectacular fireworks. More than just entertainment, the show promises to mark Cat Ba’s transformation, putting the island on the international tourism map with a unique product.
Here, an unprecedented stage will appear. Not a magnificent theater, nor a grandstand built of steel and glass, but a stage where nature and technology blend, spanning 50,000 square meters. The sea will be the vast backdrop, the sky the endless dome, and light, fire, and water will together paint an unprecedented symphony on the “Green Island.” Each summer night in Cat Ba will be a masterpiece of creativity, where humans and nature together illuminate the once-still waters after sunset to present a stage of unprecedented dreams.
Behind this masterpiece are world-leading names: H2O Events - a world-leading producer of water shows combined with fireworks, with over 30 years of experience organizing shows in dozens of theme parks and working on blockbuster films like James Bond and Mission Impossible; and LaserVision - a globally renowned company with spectacular water, sound, and light shows, many of which hold Guinness World Records, such as the “Imagine” show at Dubai Festival City (Dubai) or “Wonder Full” at Marina Bay Sands (Singapore)...
The show will bring together the world’s top jet ski racers, world-class Flyboard athletes like Kristina Isaeva – the world’s Flyboard queen, and Tomasz Kubic – European Flyboard champion, professional Jetsurf riders, along with hundreds of unprecedented lighting, laser, and firework effects in Vietnam. With double the number of athletes, jet skis, Flyboards, lighting, and fireworks of “Ocean Symphony” - Symphony of The Sea, “Green Island Symphony” promises to surpass the limits of what can be performed on water, aiming to set a Guinness World Record for the “Largest Jet Ski and Fireworks Show in the World”.
But what makes this show different is not only its scale, but also its unique cultural story inspired by the legend of the Cat Ba fairy crane and the Five Elements theory – a profound cosmological philosophy of East Asia. More than just a light and extreme sports show, “Green Island Symphony” is an artistic expression of the harmony between nature, humanity, and timeless cultural values. In “Green Island Symphony,” the fairy crane reappears, not just as a figure in legend but as a guiding light, leading viewers into a world of constantly moving Five Elements to create the universe’s unique rhythm. Each chapter of the show will reveal an aspect of natural balance – an unchanging but ever-changing cycle, like the waves constantly lapping at Cat Ba for thousands of years.
No show in Vietnam has ever combined folk legends and cutting-edge performance technology as seamlessly as Green Island Symphony. It’s not just a story told through light and effects, but a multi-sensory journey to recreate nature’s endless cycle.
The show uses a system of 18 water-based light towers, 16 shore-based lighting towers, and thousands of fireworks fired with pinpoint accuracy, transforming the sea area in front of Cat Ba beach into a magnificent natural “auditorium,” where every seat offers a perfect view. For the first time, unprecedented firework effects will be incorporated into a water show, with many unique techniques developed specifically for the show, such as kite fireworks, high-altitude fireworks, jellyfish fireworks, colored smoke fireworks...
With an investment of nearly VND 200 billion, the participation of the world’s best athletes, and the most modern laser, light, and firework technology, “Green Island Symphony” will be a unique experience in the history of marine entertainment in Vietnam.
If you’ve ever dreamed of witnessing spectacular light, water, and fire shows in Dubai, Singapore, or Las Vegas, this summer in Cat Ba, you’ll witness a similar masterpiece – but with a unique blend of traditional Vietnamese culture and the world’s most advanced technology.
