As part of the seminar, Sun PhuQuoc Airways announced the opening of direct flight sales from Seoul (ICN) – Phu Quoc (PQC), expected to operate from April 17, 2026, with a frequency of 1 flight/day, and will be increased to 2 flights/day in the next phase.
This is one of the key international routes, playing a crucial role in connecting Phu Quoc with the Northeast Asian market. Following Seoul, the airline plans to operate the Busan – Phu Quoc route from June 2026, gradually completing the direct connection network between the "Pearl Island" and the two largest economic and tourist centers of Korea.

At the event, Sun PhuQuoc Airways officially announced its General Agent in South Korea as Pacific Air Agency Group (PAA Group) – a leading GSA unit with over 36 years of experience in sales, marketing, and distribution of passenger and cargo air transport. Through this cooperation, the airline expects to quickly expand its distribution network, effectively access local sales channels, and accelerate market exploitation right from the initial stage.
According to the airline's representative, the agency and distribution partner system plays a central role in the international development strategy. The seminar in Seoul not only introduced the flight network but also shared cooperation directions, sales policies, and integrated products, helping partners build flexible ecosystem tourism packages, adding value for tourists and optimizing business efficiency.

According to Phu Quoc International Airport, in the first two months of 2026 alone, the number of South Korean visitors to the island increased by 33% compared to the same period and doubled compared to 2024.
Concurrently, air connectivity has seen significant development, with direct flight frequencies from South Korea to Phu Quoc reaching a record high by the end of 2025. Many major airlines such as Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, along with low-cost carriers Jeju Air and Jin Air, have continuously increased flights to the "Pearl Island".
