Located in the Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba area, a UNESCO-recognized World Heritage Site, Cat Ba boasts beauty that captivates any lens. Over 360 islands of varying sizes, pristine forests extending to the water's edge, unspoiled beaches, and the extremely rare Cat Ba langur – all combine to form a symphony of nature.
Cat Ba Cable Car
The Cat Ba cable car system was recognized by the Guinness World Records as having the highest cable tower above ground level (214.8m) on its opening day – June 6, 2020. More than just transportation, the Cat Ba cable car is an architectural masterpiece with a total cable length of 21km. Previously, reaching the island was a challenge that deterred many domestic and international tourists. However, the emergence of the three-cable, sea-crossing cable car system, holding the record for the "Cable car system with the highest cable tower in the world," from the mainland to the island has changed the game. Travel time has been reduced to just 15 minutes, offering one of the most stunning bay views from above in Vietnam. This is not just infrastructure, but an experience from the very start.
Sun Paradise Land Green Transportation Line
The electric bus system offers a new and eco-friendly experience. The spacious and airy design, modern interior, and smooth operation, with its eye-catching main colors of green and yellow, are impressive.
After a fun journey on the electric bus, visitors arrive at Cat Ba Central Bay – a hub for unique entertainment and dining. Here, the electric buggy system continues to provide transportation within the central area, allowing visitors to explore every corner from Cat Ba Marina (Dong Ho Bay), Cat Ba Beach, the square, the night market, the show stage area to the restaurant clusters. Visitors can choose tickets by section from just 10,000 VND, or rent the entire route with flexible pricing.
Sun Paradise Land Cat Ba transportation services are implemented with a fleet of 20 modern vehicles of each type, operating with high frequency – up to 150 trips/day. As a result, visitors can easily connect their journey from Phu Long cable car station to Central Bay without waiting time, experiencing seamless and convenient transportation.
Symphony of the Green Island Show
"Symphony of the Green Island" is a rare feat of art, sports, and technology, taking place on the Cat Ba sea with two newly established Guinness World Records: "Largest formation of jetskis firing fireworks" and "Most flyboard flips in one minute."
The show is produced by world-leading production companies H2O Events and LaserVision. The entire show is staged and performed live on a sea area of over 50,000m², inspired by the legend of the Cat Ba stork fairy and the Five Elements theory in Eastern culture. International athletes from around the world coordinate in a synchronized formation of jetskis, flyboards, and jetsurfs – extreme sports that are already challenging under standard conditions, now programmed to music, lighting, fireworks, and lasers, synchronized to the second.
Vui-Fest Night Market-Fest
Open from 4 PM to 11 PM daily, starting May 30, the Vui-Fest night market is a piece of the entertainment and culinary ecosystem of the central bay, and also a special visual highlight of Cat Ba when night falls. Inspired by recycled carton material, all booths at Vui-Fest are designed in a unique, creative, youthful, and friendly style.
Over 35 stalls create a never-ending “food tour” with food stalls stretching along the street: from grilled seafood, pub food, fast food, Chinese grilled food, to dessert and beverage stalls with fresh cream, cocktails, coconut milk, coconut coffee and fruit salad. Each stall is a world of its own unique flavors, both local and with a modern and youthful taste.
Besides cuisine, Vui-Fest is also a place to truly "let loose" with a wide range of entertainment activities: from prize games, claw machines, children's play areas, to souvenir stalls, photography services, and festive street performances.
Pair of beachfront "all-day dining" restaurants
The arrival of The Forest Beach Club and The Sea Beach Club not only adds culinary options to Cat Ba, but also brings a new definition to dining on the island, as part of the enjoyment journey. Two restaurants with two distinct "personalities", but both operate on an "all-day dining" basis - serving from early morning to late at night - allowing visitors to enjoy a full day of culinary experiences without leaving the central bay. The Forest Beach Club embodies the spirit of a "large kitchen in nature", with a warm design featuring wooden floors, long tables, and brocade patterns reminiscent of Bac Bo's identity. Meanwhile, The Sea Beach Club - a completely different space, features a modern Mediterranean style, opening directly onto the ocean. From the striking archway to the airy interior, the restaurant offers the feeling of a resort island.
