Geographical Location and Scale
Hon Thom Island has an area of about 5.7 km², located about 3-5km south of Phu Quoc Island. This island is known as "the pearl of the An Thoi archipelago" with its stunning pristine beauty, including fine white sand beaches and emerald-like clear blue sea.
With a scale of over 300 hectares, Sun Group has had a vision to preserve the unique environment by retaining over 50% of the area as pristine forest and rich vegetation. This helps Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park achieve a perfect harmony between pristine nature and modern entertainment facilities.
Hon Thom Cable Car - Guinness World Record
Proud Achievement
The most outstanding highlight of the complex is the Hon Thom cable car system - the world's longest three-rope sea-crossing cable car, recognized by Guinness World Records with a length of 7,899.9 meters. The project has a total investment of up to 5,000 billion VND, commenced construction in 2015 and was completed after 28 months of continuous construction.
Advanced Technology
The cable car is manufactured and installed by Doppelmayr (Austria) - the world leader in cable car production, ensuring strict international safety standards. The system includes 69 cabins, each with a maximum capacity of 30 passengers and a total transport capacity of up to 3,500 people per hour.
The tallest cable tower (T4) reaches 174m - one of the tallest cable towers in Vietnam, designed to withstand wind force level 12 and harsh marine environmental impacts. The entire system uses a specialized steel cable with a diameter of 46mm, specially coated to prevent rust and withstand high loads.
Unique Experience
The approximately 15-minute journey on the cable car offers visitors the chance to admire the panoramic view of South Phu Quoc from an ideal height. Visitors will take in the fresh natural colors with turquoise sea, pristine islets, and lush primeval forests.
Second Guinness Record - Kiss of the Sea
Phu Quoc has continued to achieve a second Guinness record with the "World's Largest Outdoor Theater with a Water Screen and Capacity" at the Kiss of the Sea stage. This is the first time Vietnam has an outdoor theater that has achieved a Guinness World Record.
The record was established based on two outstanding criteria: the theater's capacity of up to 5,108 seats and an infinity screen measuring 23m high and 44m wide, creating a projection area of up to 920m². This stage is two to three times larger than other outdoor multimedia performance venues worldwide.

Moc Xa Thinh No - Vietnam's Only Wooden Roller Coaster
The highlight of Exotica Village is "Moc Xa Thinh No" - the first and only wooden roller coaster in Vietnam. With a maximum height of 32.4m and a speed of 80km/h, the ride is made from 1,000 cubic meters of specialized wood imported from the US.
Developed by Sun Group in collaboration with Great Coasters International (GCI) - a company with over 25 years of experience and nearly 30 wooden roller coaster projects worldwide. Expert Louis Torres commented that this is one of the most winding wooden roller coasters in the world.
An over 2-minute journey with a track length of nearly 900m through 14 uphill sections and winding spirals offers an extremely thrilling experience. Yellow pine wood from the southern United States, specially treated, has a lifespan of 40-50 years and good shock resistance, providing a smoother ride than conventional steel roller coasters.
