The signing ceremony between a leading private hospital in the Sun Group Healthcare system—a high-quality healthcare system built and operated by Sun Group, aiming for the US JCI standard, the world’s strictest safety criteria in medical examination and treatment—and Bach Mai Hospital—a leading medical institution with over 110 years of experience—promises to usher in a new era of public-private partnerships in healthcare, working towards the common goal of improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, training human resources, and ensuring continuity in patient care.
Held solemnly at Mat Troi Hospital (Diplomatic Corps Area, Duong Van An Street, Xuan Dinh Ward, Hanoi), the signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Xuan Co, Director of Bach Mai Hospital, and the Bach Mai Hospital delegation, along with Dr. Nguyen Quang Thang, Director of Mat Troi Hospital, and the hospital’s Board of Directors.

According to the cooperation agreement, not only will technical support and technology transfer be provided, but the two medical institutions will focus on building an in-depth professional cooperation mechanism, from establishing inter-hospital consultation procedures and training human resources in specialized individualization, to jointly implementing advanced technical services and comprehensive patient care.
In particular, through this agreement, Bach Mai Hospital commits to receiving seriously ill patients from Mat Troi Hospital in cases exceeding its professional capacity. This not only demonstrates responsibility but also affirms the connectivity and efficiency of treatment lines within Vietnam’s healthcare system. This model is also expected to create a new type of cooperation: efficient, in-depth, sustainable, and comprehensive.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quang Thang – Director of Mat Troi Hospital, said: “For Sun Group in general and Mat Troi Hospital in particular, cooperating with Bach Mai Hospital is not only a great honor and a strategic choice but also a significant milestone in the journey of developing high-quality healthcare in Vietnam.
