Sun Galaxy Complex is Da Nang’s first international-scale complex dedicated to festivals, culture, events and entertainment. Spanning more than 210,000 sq. m. in the heart of Da Nang Downtown along the Han River, the project features an outdoor stage and grandstand with a capacity of nearly 20,000 spectators, offering direct views of the river and fireworks performances. Beyond hosting DIFF, the venue is designed to accommodate large-scale concerts, cultural festivals, exhibitions, conferences and international MICE events.
The complex will also integrate a hospitality ecosystem expected to be operated by Accor, alongside a shopping and commercial center, restaurants, ballroom, parks, public spaces and riverside landscapes. Inspired by the flow of the Han River and the image of the moon, its distinctive architecture is expected to create a new landmark for Da Nang while offering visitors a seamless experience from day to night.
More than an entertainment destination, Sun Galaxy Complex is envisioned as a key catalyst for Da Nang’s cultural industries and night-time economy. By bringing together international events, hospitality, retail, dining and entertainment, the complex is expected to extend visitors’ stays, increase tourism spending and inject new vitality into the riverside area of the Han River.
