The largest tulip festival with 1 million colorful flowers
Tulip Festival on the clouds 2026 not only impresses with its scale but also marks a new shift in how Ba Na Hills organizes its flower seasons. Instead of being limited to a separate area, this year's tulips are present across the entire mountain peak. From the central flower gardens, large squares, pathways to the castle area with open spaces, the tulip colors stretch continuously, making the visiting journey no longer a series of disjointed flower viewing stops but a seamless flow of spring amidst the clouds and sky.

The scale and variety of flowers are the key factors creating a distinct difference for this year's festival. A total of 36 tulip varieties, directly imported from the Netherlands, have been selected, marking the largest number of varieties and colors ever at Ba Na. The color palette ranges from familiar hues like red, yellow, and pink to purple, orange, and white, arranged alternately across different areas, creating a soft gradient in the high mountain space, reminiscent of the classic beauty of European gardens. Among these, red, yellow, and pink tulip varieties play a leading role due to their ability to create strong visual accents and suitability for outdoor display conditions.

Behind that brilliant space is a meticulous preparation process lasting many months. All tulip bulbs are selected according to strict standards of size and quality to ensure a high germination rate, flowers bloom in the correct color, and maintain durability throughout the exhibition period.

100% of the flowers were directly cultivated and cared for by the staff and employees of Sun World Ba Na Hills for 60 days. From bulb treatment, cold storage, potting, growth monitoring to adjusting the blooming time, every stage is carried out on-site, under the specific climate conditions of Ba Na Mountain peak.
The cool climate year-round is an advantage that allows tulips to grow and bloom naturally at Ba Na – something not easily achieved in many other domestic destinations. However, growing tulips at high altitudes also comes with its challenges, from heavy rain, thick fog, to unpredictable weather fluctuations. To ensure the flowers bloom simultaneously for Tet, the technical team must closely monitor daily and flexibly adjust factors throughout the care process.

Lasting for two months, gathering about one million tulips, featuring 36 varieties of flowers imported from the Netherlands and grown entirely on-site, the Tulip on the Cloud Festival 2026 at Sun World Ba Na Hills is not merely a flower season. Continuous tulip carpets create colorful "cloud flower paths", where visitors not only stop to take photos but can truly stroll amidst a space with a miniature European atmosphere in the early days of the year.
From 1 million flowers to a vibrant spring festival in Ba Na
Visiting Ba Na during Tet Nguyen Dan 2026, besides the tulip festival, visitors can embark on a journey to explore four lands with different experiential nuances. The Land of Wonder brings a joyful and bustling atmosphere; the Sun Kingdom is vibrant and energetic; the Moon Kingdom is romantic and mystical; while the Land of Origin (spiritual area) is a resting place for those seeking peace at the beginning of the year. Each land is "entrusted with" messages of luck through spring greetings, small gifts, or fortune-seeking activities, creating a gentle start to the new year.

Concurrently, a series of outdoor shows take place continuously throughout the festival season, contributing to recreating the atmosphere of "watching festivals" in spring. From the Love in the Sky show, filled with the colors of love, Solar Warrior with Roman dances and powerful malambo drumming, a saxophone artist performing in the open space at the Land of Wonders, to circus performances at the Moon Castle, each time slot offers a different entertainment stop. Notably, the 18+ cabaret show After Glow has been increased to three shows per day, making it easier for visitors to schedule their day's experiences.

The colors of traditional Tet continue to unfold in an experiential journey with the Lion Dance Art Space, where the atmosphere of spring festival viewing is clearly present through performances and cultural interactions. Lively lion dances, lion processions, and traditional mask painting activities bring a familiar feeling of Vietnamese Tet, while conveying messages of wishing for luck, receiving prosperity, and starting the new year peacefully.

Lasting for two months, gathering about one million tulips, boasting the largest variety and number of colors ever, and grown entirely on-site, the Tulip in the Clouds 2026 festival becomes the central highlight in the series of activities welcoming Lunar New Year at Sun World Ba Na Hills. The floral space covering the mountaintop, combined with spring-themed experiential zones and continuous outdoor shows, creates a complete spring travel picture, where visitors can stroll amidst "cloud flower paths," immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of shows and festivals, and fully experience the spring colors and the spirit of the new year's beginning on Ba Na peak.
