Day 7/7/2024 marked a milestone for the tourist area Sun World Ba Na Hills with the first batch of fresh Sun KraftBeer officially launched at the brewery (Bana Brew House) atop Ba Na.
Bana Brew House is a project that has been developed by Ba Na for 10 years, with the desire to produce a beer brand that is not inferior to the best beers in the world. The project was officially launched in the summer of 2024, when the B’estival Beer Festival 2024 started.
With the cooperation of BrauKon - a brand with a history of hundreds of years from Germany in the field of beer production, Bana Brew House is equipped with a stateoftheart conveyor belt system and is fully automated from raw materials to finished products.
The technology and team of brewers of beer by the beer company Camba - Bavaria directly supplies the ingredients, beer production materials are selected by Camba from the best types from Germany, New Zealand and the USA, ensuring that batches of fresh Sun KraftBeer are produced on top of Ba Na with a delicious aroma “European” standard.
Responsible for the premium beer batches of Sun KraftBeer is Tim Burkardt – an Australian beer brewer - a Brewmaster – who is considered a true master brewer for any company or beer brand at breweries worldwide. Tim Burkardt has undergone a rigorous training process over 6 years in Germany, to become a Brewmaster.
The secrets mentioned above have contributed to creating the delicious and authentic flavor of German beer and are also the biggest difference between Sun KraftBeer and other brands in the market.

When visiting the craft beer factory atop Ba Na, visitors can not only enjoy fresh pints of Sun KraftBeer that are freshly brewed, but also explore and experience every step of the beer production process, smell the sweet aroma of barley and hops, and witness how raw materials are transformed into excellent pints of beer.
The brewery factory includes 7 floors with a capacity of 1,250 guests. Visitors will be able to visit the main areas on floors 1-3 to explore the beer brewing process. On floor 1, visitors will witness the beginning and end of the beer brewing process – that is the grain milling machines and the beer bottling system into cans/kegs. On floor 3 - considered the heart of the brewery, visitors will explore the beer brewing and fermentation process in a system of 14 fermentation tanks, with a huge capacity of 12,000 liters per tank and 3 modern beer brewing kettles with a stylish design made of shiny copper. This is also the most complex system in the Ba Na brewery, from production, transportation, installation to operation.
The most engrossing aspect of the brewery tour was the opportunity to meet and chat with Australian brewmaster Tim Burkardt, listening to his stories about beer, the art of brewing beer for hundreds of years in the legendary land of Bavaria (Germany).
The unique and impressive architectural style and the unique interaction between Western and Champa cultures of the 7-story brewery on top of Ba Na mountain is sure to amaze and impress visitors. Specifically, Ba Na 1901 restaurant located on floors 4-5-6 of the brewery, serving high-class food and beer will make your brewery exploration more complete with special culinary experiences only available at Ba Na.
