The Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO) was established in 2017 with the collaboration of Sun Group.
The Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO) aims to "become one of Vietnam's internationally acclaimed symphony orchestras, enriching the public's spiritual life through music and setting new standards for the nation's arts and culture." Its long-term goal is to bring world-class performances to audiences nationwide through its main classical symphony season, chamber music concerts, and educational collaborations aimed at developing and supporting young Vietnamese musical talent.

The Sun Symphony Orchestra includes:
French Music Director/Conductor Olivier Ochanine. He is a French conductor and flute player, holding a master's degree in orchestral conducting from the University of Southern California and pursuing a doctorate in orchestral conducting at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Olivier Ochanine excelled over nearly 120 conductors from 23 countries worldwide to win first prize in the Antal Dorati International Conducting Competition in Budapest, Hungary (2015), the prestigious American Prize (2015), and second prize in the International Symphony Orchestra Conducting Competition in London, UK (2015). With his renowned stage presence and extensive knowledge of symphonic music, he is the youngest former Music Director and Principal Conductor in the history of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO), has conducted concerts with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, is a frequent guest conductor of the Sichuan Philharmonic Orchestra (China), and has also conducted the Cincinnati College-Conservatory Orchestra, the Budapest MAV Symphony Orchestra, the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, the Gyor Philharmonic Orchestra, and many others.
