In March 2022, Sun Group officially launched Sun Air, aiming to become a reputable, modern, and internationally-class private jet airline, with "Safety - Class - Difference" as its core values.
In Vietnam, Sun Air is the first luxury segment shared airline, providing high-class flight services personalized for individuals and groups, with two types: Private jet management services and charter flight services, sightseeing tours, and tourism by helicopter and light aircraft.
Targeting high-net-worth individuals with high spending power and who always demand the most stringent standards, including business people, the wealthy elite, individuals, and organizations both domestically and internationally who travel for business transactions, project surveys, medical treatment, sightseeing, luxury tourism and relaxation, the airline of Sun Group also aims to become a private jet company providing global private jets, using the fastest aircraft in the world, aiming to take the lead in the high-speed air race, minimizing flight time for each leg.
Sharing about the launch of a private aviation company in the context of the tourism industry where the world is increasingly favoring private experiential trips, after the severe impacts of the pandemic, Mr. Dang Minh Truong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group said: “The launch of Sun Air is completely in line with the sustainable development roadmap of Sun Group. Exploiting the charter flight segment (private jet charter), Sun Air will develop many flights bringing the customer segment to manylarge markets worldwide, using business jets Gulfstream G650ER, Gulfstream G700 with intercontinental range, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and cabin space. These are also private jets used by many billionaires like Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos .
