Bell ringing ceremony at the Ba Chua system of pagodas on the morning of July 1st
At 6 am on July 1st, all pagodas and monastic institutions nationwide simultaneously rang three bells and struck the Hannya drum to pray for national peace and prosperity. This is considered a special historical event, demonstrating the spirit of "Buddhism accompanying the nation throughout all historical stages".

At Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh), the bell ringing ceremony and prayer chanting for national peace and prosperity were solemnly held at Linh Son Tien Thach Tu, marking a new development phase for Tay Ninh province in particular and the country in general.

After the three-bell and Hannya drum ceremony, the monks, nuns, Buddhists, and visitors participated in a prayer service for national peace and the well-being of the people. This is a special moment in history for the people of Tay Ninh to welcome a new era under the protection of Linh Son Thanh Mau Bodhisattva - a sacred symbol in the beliefs of the people here.

The system of Ba Den Mountain pagodas is associated with the legend of Linh Son Thanh Mau Bodhisattva, with a history of hundreds of years, has become a spiritual mainstay for the people of Tay Ninh through generations.

In 1763, Linh Son Pagoda on Ba Den Mountain was built, considered the oldest Buddhist pagoda in Tay Ninh and laid the foundation for the development of Buddhism in Tay Ninh. Today, Linh Son Tien Thach Tu stands majestically and serenely amidst the magnificent system of Ba Pagoda, hosting many major Buddhist events of the province.
Ba Den Mountain tourist area offers preferential treatment to local people
From July 1st, the (new) Tay Ninh province, formed from the merger of Long An and Tay Ninh provinces, officially commenced operations. To celebrate this historical event, the Ba Den Mountain tourist area is implementing a preferential ticket price policy for all residents of the (new) Tay Ninh province, applicable from July 1st to December 31st, 2025.
Accordingly, the cable car ticket (round trip) to Ba Pagoda is only VND 200,000/adult, VND 120,000/child. The cable car ticket to the mountaintop is VND 350,000/adult, VND 250,000/child. The combo cable car ticket to the Pagoda and the mountaintop is VND 550,000/adult, VND 350,000/child. Tourists only need to bring their identification papers proving permanent residence in Tay Ninh according to Resolution 60-NQ/TW, the Central Party has agreed to merge Tay Ninh and Long An provinces from July 1, 2025.

The merger of Tay Ninh and Long An is a significant event, opening a new chapter for the (new) Tay Ninh province in the era of national advancement. “Through the application of a special ticket pricing policy for locals, we hope to spread the spirit of unity as Tay Ninh and Long An become one. This is also an expression of gratitude from the tourism area to the people and visitors who have always shown their affection and chosen Ba Den Mountain as their destination for many years,” shared Ms. Dao Thi Viet, Deputy Director of Sun World Ba Den Mountain.
As a leading spiritual tourism destination in the South, Sun World Ba Den Mountain is known for its magnificent system of spiritual structures on the 986m-high mountain peak. With a series of large-scale spiritual and cultural events taking place throughout the year, Ba Den Mountain attracts millions of Buddhist pilgrims and tourists from both domestically and internationally to visit each year.

During this time, visitors to Ba Den Mountain will immerse themselves in the sacred atmosphere of the Quan The Am Bodhisattva Enlightenment Festival, taking place from July 8-13, 2025 (June 14-19, lunar calendar). This is an opportunity for thousands of Buddhists from all over to gather at the sacred Ba Den Mountain to pray for peace and participate in meaningful cultural and religious activities such as offering incense at the Ba Chua system of temples, or the lantern offering ceremony taking place on Saturday evening on the mountaintop.
