Located in the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area (Sa Pa, Lao Cai), the Fansipan rose valley, covering an area of 50,000m², is one of the most attractive destinations every summer. With millions of roses blooming throughout the three summer months, this place has become a rose paradise in Vietnam, and also an ideal backdrop for extremely romantic photos.

Stepping into the valley, visitors will immediately be overwhelmed by a vibrant space of flowers, gathering hundreds of precious rose bushes from many countries: from the gentle ancient roses of Sa Pa to the alluringly fragrant Lafont, the romantic Abraham Darby, the elegant Juliet to the luxurious Black Baccarat... Pink, red, white, yellow, and purple colors intertwine to create a vivid flower painting stretching endlessly at the foot of the Hoang Lien mountain range.

This year, the rose valley space has been upgraded with a series of art scenes, bringing an unprecedented unique experience. Standing out in the valley is a giant rose, a check-in point that makes anyone passing by stop to take pictures.

Not far from there are fairy wings chairs, climbing rose windows, exquisite angel statues, flower hot air balloons, and even princess dresses made of flowers, all contributing to a space that is both romantic and modern, appealing to all ages.

“Every corner of the rose valley is as beautiful as a painting. I took this Fansipan trip, I will probably have photos to post until the end of next year,” said Ms. Mai, a tourist from Hanoi, excitedly sharing.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tien, from Lao Cai, took the opportunity to play with his family on the weekend, expressed: “Sa Pa also has roses, but mostly climbing roses, planted sparsely. Many and as beautiful as in this valley is truly rare. My mother, my wife, and my daughters are all fascinated.”

Thanks to its large area and cleverly arranged walkways, the rose valley at Fansipan offers a private space for each group of visitors, allowing tourists to comfortably stroll, pose, and take photos.

Fansipan roses are most vibrant in May and usually bloom until June.

Beyond roses, the Fansipan summer exploration journey continues with other stunning flower gardens, such as the white taro flower garden next to the Muong Hoa train station, the refreshing blue hydrangea garden, or the dreamy purple flower carpet.

Especially, summer is also the time when rhododendrons, the flower known as the "Queen of Northwest Vietnam," bloom at altitudes above 2,000m. Sun World Fansipan Legend has painstakingly created a path along the most beautiful ancient rhododendron trees, allowing visitors to leisurely take photos while gazing out at the majestic clouds and sky embracing the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

In addition, visitors can visit May village at the foot of the mountain, which preserves the cultural identity of the highland people, to explore traditional crafts villages, enjoy local specialties, and especially rent ethnic costumes to create unique photos imbued with the breath of Northwest Vietnam.

Not only a paradise for virtual living, Fansipan is also a rendezvous point for unique cultural and artistic experiences. Throughout the summer, the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area is constantly bustling with folk dance and highland art performances. Atop Fansipan at an altitude of 3,143m - the place known as the "roof of Indochina" - a solemn flag-raising ceremony takes place every day. Here, visitors also have the opportunity to experience the emotional art show "Colors of the Borderland," which honors the sacred beauty of the Fatherland on the border.

Unlike the sweltering heat of the lowlands, Fansipan welcomes summer with cool weather and scenery that seems to come straight from a dream. The rose valley not only captivates people with its vibrant colors but also opens up a journey to explore culture, nature, and unique emotions, where every step leaves an unforgettable mark.
