“Holland” and the Biggest Spring Festival of the Year
The opening ceremony of the Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival with the theme “Scents of Tay Ninh 2026” will be grandly held at 6:00 PM on February 20th (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year) at the Square opposite the cable car station within the tourist area Sun World Ba Den Mountain .

This year's opening ceremony of the Ba Den Spring Festival will treat audiences to elaborate and spectacular artistic performances, featuring renowned artists and unique, impressive artistic acts.
By participating in the program, visitors and audiences will also have the opportunity to admire a breathtaking high-altitude fireworks display illuminating the Tay Ninh sky. The series of activities belonging to the Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival will continue and last until the end of the 30th day of the first lunar month (i.e., March 18).

As part of the Spring Festival of Nui Ba, visitors and Buddhist followers from all directions coming to Sun World Ba Den Mountain will immerse themselves in the bustling festival atmosphere and vibrant activities day and night with folk cultural activities such as traditional five-tone music performances, Khmer dance, or Chhay dam drumming – a unique drum dance recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. At the same time, many elaborately staged cultural and artistic programs on the top of Ba Den Mountain offer completely new and attractive experiences.

Especially, Sun World Ba Den Mountain during the Spring Festival is a flower paradise, where tens of thousands of tulips blooming on top of Ba Den Mountain will turn this place into a “Dutch land”, along with hundreds of brilliantly blooming flowers creating a “fairyland”.
A sacred destination
Ba Den Mountain has always been the leading spiritual destination in the South, associated with a 300-year-old sacred system of Ba temples. Every New Year, millions of people from all over flock to Ba Den Mountain to pray for a prosperous and peaceful new year and express their reverence for Linh Son Thanh Mau.
On top of Ba Den Mountain is a system of magnificent spiritual structures for visitors to entrust their New Year wishes. This year, besides worshipping at the tallest bronze statue of Lady Buddha Tay Bo Da Son in Asia and the world's largest sandstone statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva, visitors and Buddhists will also worship the statue of Buddha Kanakamuni – the Buddha representing wealth and prosperity, known as “The One from Gold”.

Located at the highest point of Ba Den Mountain, the statue of Kasyapa Buddha is crafted in a brilliant golden hue, linked to the legend that on the birth of Kasyapa Buddha, a rain of gold fell. Sitting in the lotus position on a lotus pedestal in the middle of the Udumbara lake, the statue of Kasyapa Buddha bears a compassionate, understanding, and merciful face towards sentient beings. The special highlight of this Buddhist architectural masterpiece is the image of Kasyapa Buddha’s left hand gently holding a golden fig, a symbol of prosperity, abundance, and completeness. The fig is also associated with the Udumbara tree (fig tree) under which the Buddha attained enlightenment. With the presence of the statue of Kasyapa Buddha, Ba Den Mountain becomes a place for visitors to entrust their wishes for a prosperous and wealthy new year.
